HW & SW Business for 4th. Industrial Revolution
UTiFLEX microwave cable assemblies are constructed using a low or ultra-low-density PTFE dielectric coupled with fully shielded outer conductors and a unique connector attachment that withstands mechanical and thermal stresses far better than standard connectors. The result: Excellent loss characteristics, outstanding phase stability, and superb flexibility compared to standard flexible cables — all without sacrificing mechanical integrity.

Semi-Rigid cable assemblies deliver exceptional performance in both military and commercial applications, meeting the industry’s highest quality standards. Designed with precision and built using advanced CNC equipment, these assemblies provide reliable signal integrity even in the most demanding environments. With a vast selection of commercial, QPL, and custom RF/Microwave connectors, along with a variety of cable types and diameters, they offer a tailored solution for virtually any application or budget.

Semi-rigid cable comes as close as possible to the ideal coaxial cable due to its superior electrical performance, exceptional shielding effectiveness, and dimensional stability, making it the first choice of any RF/Microwave engineer. We offer semi-rigid coaxial cable options with a large range of impedances, diameters, materials, and finishes.
Part Number Builder
The UT part number designation is easy to understand because it is simple and short, especially for standard cable. Materials for component parts are indicated under individual cable specifications.

ARACON® is a high strength conductive fiber made from KEVLAR®, the same material used for bullet resistant vests. Our engineers quickly recognized that by substituting the ARACON® fiber in place of the silver plated copper braid traditionally used in our coaxial cables, we had the potential to reduce the weight by up to 80% and have a stronger connector attachment.

Safe-D-LOCK® connectors are the reliable alternative to conventional self-locking connectors, adhesive compounds or safety wire. The unique design installs quickly without wasting valuable mass or space in the host system. Locks to the D-FLAT on the mating connector, providing a true lock that cannot be compromised when the cable is rotated. Safe-D-LOCK technology is contained entirely in the coupling nut of the connector, which allows the feature to be easily ported into different implementations, including low-profile, right-angle connectors.
